Meanwhile, Martial is unsettled at Old Trafford. He is struggling to cement a place in the starting eleven, and is rumoured to want to leave after a fall out with manager Jose Mourinho was suggested.
Not being a regular starter for United has cost the winger his spot in Didier Deschamps’ World Cup squad.
The arrival of Martial would surely fuel rumours of an impending exit for Eden Hazard. With no Champions League football next year, the Belgian may choose to go elsewhere to try and immortalise himself on European nights.
