Antonio Conte has spoken to the press about the injury suffered by Thibaut Courtois, reports the Metro.
Courtois missed Wednesday’s 1-1 draw with Huddersfield Town and Willy Caballero featured instead, gifting the Terriers a goal when he came for a ball and was beaten to it by Laurent Depoitre.
The biggest fear that Blues fans would have had about next Saturday, would be if Courtois was not fit for the FA Cup Final against Manchester United.
But those fears can now ease as in his press conference, Conte said the 25-year-old is in contention to return for Sunday’s game with Newcastle, meaning he will almost certainly play at Wembley next Saturday:
Today Courtois trained. He will be in contention for Newcastle.

The Belgian international has been Chelsea’s number one since 2014 and has featured 125 times for them in the Premier League, keeping 48 clean sheets.
He won the Golden Glove award last season after keeping 16 clean sheets, so it is no wonder that Chelsea fans would be worried if he failed to be fit in time for next week’s game.
