Chelsea are considering a move for Manchester United defender Eric Bailly, according to ESPN.
The report claims that Arsenal and Chelsea are both following Bailly’s progress at United and could make moves for the defender this summer.
Chelsea are keen to solve their defensive issues this summer and see Bailly as a potential improvement to their backline.
Bailly has missed large chunks of this season through injury but was impressive in his debut campaign for United.
The central defender joined the club from Villarreal in the summer of 2016, for a fee in the region of £30m.
He made 38 appearances for United last season but has only been able to appear 16 times during the course of the current campaign.
The report does not, however, state how much United would demand for Bailly, though it would likely be in excess of the £30m they paid for him in 2016.
