N’Golo Kante refutes claims he will join PSG

N’Golo Kante has been a mainstay in the Chelsea midfield for the last two seasons and has been an integral part of two Premier League title-winning sides in recent years, but there have been claims he could be off in the summer.

The former Caen standout has been strongly linked with a move to Ligue 1 holders PSG, but the France international midfielder has confirmed that he is happy at Stamford Bridge.

As quoted by the London Evening Standard, Kante states that he feels as if Chelsea is like home for him, all but ending speculation that he could leave in the summer transfer window.

I am at home. It is my club, I am a Chelsea player. This is my second year at Chelsea. After what happened last season, it was a very good one for us because we got to celebrate winning the title.

In the second season, I have got to play in the Champions League and we are going again to finish in the top four.

We will fight until the end to finish in the top four and to get in a Champions League position.

We also have the FA Cup to play for – it is a good competition. Last season we failed in the final. It is the only trophy we can win this season, so we have to give everything to get to the final and win it.

Kante is contracted to Chelsea on a £150,000-a-week deal running until 2021 meaning there is no pressure on the Blues to cash-in on the player.
