Chelsea are reportedly keeping tabs on former Liverpool goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi as they consider their options ahead of the summer transfer window.
It’s claimed by ESPN that the Blues are accompanying Atletico Madrid in their interest in the experienced shot-stopper, who has proven to be a reliable option between the sticks for Leipzig.
Chelsea’s goalkeeping situation is currently uncertain, with Thibaut Courtois’ future under scrutiny. The Belgian international is yet to sign a new deal at the club and has been linked with a move to Real Madrid.

Atletico are in a similar position, also. Their star goalkeeper Jan Oblak is being considered by a number of top clubs and Diego Simeone is understood to be looking at shot-stoppers in case Oblak does indeed depart.
Hungary international Gulacsi has enjoyed a strong season with Leipzig and has only conceded 34 goals in the 26 Bundesliga games that he has started in.
The 27-year-old, due to his five-year tenure with Liverpool, qualifies as a homegrown player. This could be of interest to Chelsea as they aim to once again adhere to Premier League squad regulations ahead of next season.
