Chelsea’s Eden Hazard is ready to sign a new deal at the club, but wants a release clause in his contract, according to the Mirror.
The Belgian is close to putting pen to paper on a new contract. However, with Real Madrid still interested, Hazard wants a release clause put in the new deal.
Hazard would be set to earn over £300,000 a week, after rejecting offers of about £200,000 before.

The Belgian’s contract expires in 2020, with the club revealing in January that they were close to agreeing on a new deal.
However, with Hazard demanding a release clause, his future at Chelsea may not be as clear.
Real Madrid have been long-time admirers of the Belgian, and reportedly want to make a bid in the Summer for his services.
However, with a new deal securing the Hazard’s immediate Chelsea future, Antonio Conte can probably stop worrying about losing the 27-year-old in the Summer transfer window.
