Inter Milan will make Arturo Vidal their number one target in the summer if they are able to qualify for the Champions League.
According to Calcio Mercato, Inter are ready to make a move for Vidal if they are competing in Europe’s top competition.
This will pit them up against Chelsea, who are said to be interested in signing Vidal ahead of next season.
The Chilean international looks set to leave Bayern in the summer and Antonio Conte is keen on adding him to his midfield alongside N’Golo Kante.
Vidal has earned a reputation as one of the best box-to-box midfielders in the world during his time with Juventus and Bayern over the last few years.
The report does claim, though, that Inter may be financially restricted by rules put in place by Chinese authorities stopping mass overseas investment.
Chelsea could look to sign Vidal to replace Tiemoue Bakayoko, who has been seen as a flop thus far.
