Lazio star Stefan de Vrij has been linked with just about every top Premier League club, including Chelsea, over the last few weeks and the centre-back appears set to complete a big move in the summer.
After Lazio retracted their contract offer to the Dutchman, de Vrij will likely leave the club on a free transfer in June when his contract with the Serie A club expires and Chelsea will be among those vying for his signature.
Atletico Madrid, Barcelona, Liverpool and Manchester United have all been linked with the 23-year-old, but despite interest from outside of Serie A, de Vrij has agreed a deal to stay put in the division with Inter Milan, according to Calciomercato.

Inter are understood to have agreed a five-year contract with the Dutchman’s agent worth €4.2m-a-year, approximately £70,000-a-week, a significant increase on his current contract with Lazio.
De Vrij’s decision to leave Lazio in the summer will give hope to the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United in their bid to secure his signature but it appears they will have to exceed Inter’s contract offer if they are to sign him.
