Chelsea are hoping to tie Eden Hazard down to a new contract but if they can’t, they’ll be hoping to ensure that they are not left without a world class forward if they are forced to sell him and as such, they’ll reportedly look to let him leave for Manchester City and ask for Sergio Aguero to be included in any deal.
Chelsea are not looking to let Hazard leave at all and they’ll do all they can to get him to commit his future to the club, but they have contingency plans in place if he does decide that he wants to move on.
Agüero has been in great form recently for City but there is a feeling that Pep Guardiola prefers to use Gabriel Jesus when he is fit and that he might be willing to let the Argentinian superstar leave if it meant he could get Hazard.
With Real Madrid also said to be interested in Hazard, Chelsea fans will be hoping the Belgian signs a new contract in the very near future.
