Manchester United have reportedly lodged an enquiry to Chelsea regarding the availability of Willian.
It’s claimed by the Daily Mail that United are not easing up in their pursuit of the Brazilian, who is admired by the Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho. The Portuguese tactician worked alongside Willian during his second stint at Stamford Bridge.
Willian remains a key player for Chelsea but has been used in a rotated role this season, with Pedro also sharing the time on the right-hand side.
United’s interest has been well documented for some time now, but it seems as though Willian is happy to stay with the Blues, regardless of which clubs express an interest.
Willian was in good form on Tuesday night as he helped Chelsea to a 3-1 win against Huddersfield. The former Anzhi star scored his side’s second of the match, aiding them as they bounced back to winning ways.
United will continue to persist with their pursuit of Willian, it seems.
