Bayern Munich midfielder and long-term Chelsea transfer target Arturo Vidal could be shown the exit door at the Allianz Arena — if the German club win the race for the signing of Schalke 04 midfielder Leon Goretzka, who is thought to be a target for both Liverpool and Arsenal.
This comes according to Kicker (via Twitter), who state that the hierarchy at the Bundesliga champions are growing frustrated with the Chilean’s performances of late.
Kicker: #FCBayern are becoming increasingly unhappy with the performances of Arturo Vidal.
The Chilean would be allowed to leave next summer if Schalke’s Leon Goretzka joins.
Inter are interested in Vidal, whose contract expires in 2019.

Vidal joined Bayern Munich from Serie A side Juventus back in 2015, and has since won two Bundesliga titles, the DFB-Pokal and two DFL-Supercups.
He worked under Antonio Conte when the pair were both still at Juventus, so it’s not too great a stretch to suggest that they could re-unite at Chelsea.
However, Bayern certainly have competition for the signature of Leon Goretzka, who has been extensively linked with Liverpool.
The current Bundesliga champions have an embarrassment of riches in midfield, boasting the talents of Thiago, James Rodriguez, Sebastian Rudy, Corentin Tolisso, Niklas Dorch and Fabian Benko, as well as having David Alaba and Joshua Kimmich able to step up from defence.
It is understandable that they’d be looking to remove a central midfielder from the picture in order to bring another in, and that could certainly work to Chelsea’s benefit if Arturo Vidal does leave the club.
