Chelsea are interested in signing Atletico Madrid star Saul Niguez, according to reports in Spain.
Antonio Conte is apparently a huge fan of the Spaniard and is willing to pay £71m to bring him to Stamford Bridge at the end of the season, although Atleti are keen to keep him and are likely to reject any offers that fall below his release clause.

As is common practice in Spain, the 22-year-old does have a clause in his contract that means any side who pays £134m could sign him and leave Atleti powerless to prevent him leaving, so it remains to be seen if Chelsea are willing to smash their transfer record to sign him.
Saul has emerged as one of the brightest stars in La Liga and is being tipped to become one of the next generation of star Spaniards as the former World and European champions look to get back to the top of the international stage and it is no surprise to see him being linked with big clubs like Chelsea.
