PSG forward Kylian Mbappe has revealed that he played for Chelsea in a trial game as a youngster, and met first-team players at the time.
Mbappe says that he was with Chelsea at the age of 11 after he was scouted playing amateur football in France.
Speaking to The Telegraph, Mbappe said this:
It was a wonderful experience. Chelsea was the first great club, the first big club, that I went to visit. So it was a real discovery for me.
We played against Charlton, I think, and we won maybe seven or eight nil.

I also got to meet some of the first-team players – (Didier) Drogba, (Florent) Malouda – the French-speaking ones and took some pictures with them.
The move clearly did not work out in the long-run, but he has certainly made a name for himself since.
The forward completed a mega move to PSG during the summer transfer window, joining on a season-long loan with the option to buy for €180m.
PSG presumably signed Mbappe on loan to avoid financial fair play regulations, having already signed Neymar from PSG for €222m earlier in the window.
The official permanent transfer next summer will make him the most expensive striker in history, unless, of course, a striker is bought for more than that in the meantime.
