According to Sky Italia, as cited by Football Italia, Torino’s Davide Zappacosta is having a medical at Chelsea ahead of a £23m switch to The Blues.
Chelsea have been in the market all summer for a right wing back and a left wing back to provide competition to Victor Moses and Marcos Alosno, as well as having more squad depth as they embark on their return to the Champions League as well as defending their Premier League title.
They failed in pursuits of Danilo, Benjamin Mendy, Alex Sandro and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain this summer but now they look like they have finally filled the void.

With the imminent signing of Zappacosta, Chelsea will be killing two birds with one stone, as he can play at both right and left wing back.
Chelsea head coach, Antonio Conte, called up Zappacosta for his Euro 2016 squad so they know each other very well.
The full back will sign a four year deal at Chelsea if the medical goes well.
