Chelsea’s hunt for a right wing back, as well as a left wing back, to cover and provide competition for Victor Moses and Marcos Alonso is finally over.
Killing two birds with one stone, Antonio Conte and Chelsea have signed Zappacosta from Torino, who can play both at right and at left wing back, which is great business for the club.
After missing out on Alex Sandro, Danilo, Benjamin Mendy and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, everyone at Chelsea, as well as the fans, are delighted that the saga for a new wing back is over.

Zappacosta was part of Conte’s Euro 2016 squad with Italy and the head coach watched him when managing Juventus before his stint as manager of his national side.
The Italian fullback joined Torino in 2015 from Atalanta for just £4m, so a good profit is being made by the Italian side.
Since joining, he has played 58 times for the club, scoring two goals and getting six assists.
