According to the Daily Mail, Fernando Llorente is on his way to Tottenham to finalise a deal with the club, meaning Chelsea will miss out on their striker target.
In the last few days of this transfer window, Llorente has looked very likely to join Chelsea as a backup to new signing, Alvaro Morata and a replacement for Diego Costa, however, it looks like Tottenham are close to snatching Llorente under their London rivals Chelsea’s nose.

However, there could be hope for the Chelsea fans as Swansea may not want to sell if they do not get a replacement for the Spanish target man, with their former striker, Wilfried Bony being linked with a return to the Swans once again, where he succeeded before joining Manchester City.
Llorente, who is currently out with a fractured arm, joined Swansea from Sevilla in the summer of 2016 for just £6 million and he played a huge part in Swansea’s survival under Paul Clement last season.
