According to the Mirror, Las Palmas are keen to sign Diego Costa on loan until 2018, before he moves on to Atletico Madrid.
Costa wants to leave Chelsea after a falling out with head coach, Antonio Conte, but he wants a move to his previous club, Atletico Madrid, who can’t register him as a player until 2018 due to a transfer embargo.

Chelsea want the move to happen as soon as possible for around £40m for the Spaniard, as they look to bring in Arsenal’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Swansea’s Fernando Llorente. The funds from a move for Costa would undoubtedly help to balance the books after what promises to be a heavy summer of spending.
Costa joined Chelsea in 2014 from Atletico Madrid for after making 134 appearances for the Spanish side, scoring 64 goals and assisting 22 times during his spell there.
He has continued his excellent form at Chelsea, making 120 appearances for The Blues, scoring 58 goals, assisting 24 whilst helping them win two Premier Leagues and a League Cup.
