Chelsea made it two wins in their last two outings today with a comfortable victory over Everton.
The reigning champions were looking to build on last week’s victory at Tottenham, and duly delivered with a rather straightforward 2-0 triumph over Ronald Koeman’s side.
Cesc Fabregas opened the scoring for the Blues, before Alvaro Morata continued his impressive start to the season by notching the second of the afternoon.
The win takes Chelsea up to 6th place with three games having been played.
So, without further ado, take a look at our player ratings for the Blues as they come away from Stamford Bridge victorious!
Thibaut Courtois – 6
Had next to nothing to do. Comfortable game for the Belgian as he heads into the international break.
Antonio Rudiger – 7
A much improved display. He looked more comfortable in the three at the back system and was efficient on the ball.

David Luiz – 7
Like Rudiger, looked comfortable. Played some nice passes and also made a couple of smart blocks.
Cesar Azpilicueta – 8
His assist for Morata’s goal was very good. He looked assured throughout and impressed as usual.
Victor Moses – 7
Missed a good opportunity when one on one with Jordan Pickford but offered a good outlet on the right.
N’Golo Kante – 7
Simple but effective. Supported the team well in both attack and defence, and was effervescent.

Cesc Fabregas – 9
The man of the match, for me. Was outstanding in the middle and dictated the tempo of the game, and capped a brilliant move in the first half with a goal.
Marcos Alonso – 7
Like Moses, provided width and quality. A solid display from Alonso.
Willian – 6
Not his usual, energetic self, but did the simple things well enough.
Pedro – 7
Pedro, on the other hand, was bright. He caused Everton’s defence issues and was impressive.
Alvaro Morata – 8
Played a big part in Chelsea’s win. Held the ball up well and contributed with an assist and a goal.

Tiemoue Bakayoko (SUB) – 6
Kept things ticking over in the middle and was unfortunate to have had a speculative long-range drive blocked.
Michy Batshuayi (SUB) – 6
Worked hard after his introduction but didn’t have a great deal of influence on proceedings.
Andreas Christensen (SUB) – N/A
Wasn’t on for long enough to make an impact.
