According to Daily Star, Chelsea are the favourites to sign Real Madrid wonderkid, Marcos Llorente, as a replacement for the recently departed Nemanja Matic.
Despite the arrivals of Willy Cabellero, Antonio Rudiger, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Alvaro Morata, Chelsea head coach, Antonio Conte, still wants to spend more money and add to his squad.
With the recent departure of Matic to Premier League title rivals, Manchester United, for £40m, Conte wants to bring in another midfielder as they now only have N’Golo Kante, Cesc Fabregas and Tiemoue Bakayoko as central midfield options, which is very thin considering they will want to compete on all four fronts this season.

The Madrid youngster has now come up as a target for Chelsea in an attempt to get more squad depth at the club.
Llorente has come through the ranks at Real Madrid and he spent last campaign on loan to Alaves, where he played 38 times, assisting three times and scoring none but he was an integral part in the clubs survival in La Liga last season.
If Llorente is to join, he will not have trouble settling in, with fellow compatriots Cesar Azpilicueta, Fabregas, Pedro and one of Llorente’s former teammates in Morata being at the club.
