Chelsea are reportedly confident that they will be able to strike a deal with Arsenal for English midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The Evening Standard says that Gunners boss Arsene Wenger will not sell star men Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil and Olivier Giroud, however, he has not confirmed anything about Chamberlain’s future, with Chelsea hopeful of agreeing a £35million fee before the transfer window closes.
Chamberlain, who has entered the final year of his contract, has been the subject of continuous negotiations between the two London sides, with the Premier League champions growing increasingly confident that a deal can be finalised.

There is still reportedly slight interest from Liverpool and Manchester City for the 23-year-old, but Chelsea, who will look to play Englishman more as a right wing-back, apear to be in pole position.
The former Southampton wonderkid joined the Gunners back in 2011, and has made 129 appearances since then, scoring nine times.
