According to the Yorkshire Post, Lewis Baker has rejected Bournemouth and West Ham to join Middlesbrough on loan as he wants regular game time next season.
Bournemouth and West Ham were interesting in signing Baker on a season-long loan but the 22-year-old is likely to join Boro, where he will get much more game time in the Championship.
The midfielder spent the last two campaigns on loan at Vitesse, where many other Chelsea prodigies go out to temporarily and after good performances there, the three clubs mentioned beforehand as well as Birmingham and Reading have shown an interest in the youngster.

Baker has been on loan to Sheffield Wednesday, MK Dons and Vitesse in his career as well as being a regular in Chelsea’s youth development teams, helping them win the Under 21 Premier League.
He has made a total of 149 appearances in his career, scoring 47 goals and assisting 29 times, making him one of the main prospects at Chelsea and on the international stage for England.
