Diego Costa sending many signals on Atletico Madrid transfer

According to Sport Witness who quote Spanish source Marca, Diego Costa has sent “a thousand and one” winks on social media over a move away from Stamford Bridge this summer.

Costa has been looking for a move away from Chelsea this summer after he was not happy with manager Antonio Conte, who told him that he was not in his plans and Costa didn’t like the way he told him, which was apparently over the phone.

Surprisingly, Costa still remains a Chelsea player despite winding up many associated with Chelsea, including the fans. The Spaniard wants a move back to Atletico Madrid but due to their transfer ban, this may not happen. He was spotted partying in Brazil with the Spanish clubs jersey on.

With the arrival of Alvaro Morata and the upturn in form from Michy Batshuayi, Costa’s future was put into even more doubt.

If Atletico did not have their transfer ban then Costa would be a Atletico Madrid player right now but even if they do sign him now, they will have to wait until January to register him to their squad so the Spanish side do not care when they get Costa by, only if it is in this window.

However, Chelsea want a transfer to happen as soon as possible as they look to improve on their squad for the 2017/18 season, where they will look to defend their Premier League title and compete in the Champions League once again.

Jorge Mendes, Costa’s agent, has been told by the player that if Atletico fail to sign him then he wants Mendes to find him another destination as long as it is not at Stamford Bridge.
