Izzy Brown says that he still thinks he can make it at Chelsea, despite the quality currently at the club.
Brown says that it is very difficult for young players to breakthrough at Chelsea due to the number of senior first-team players keeping them out of the side.
Speaking to The Mirror, Brown said this:
It sounds bad but, with so many world class players around you, you’re going to need an injury or something to a player in your position and then your chance will come.
And if you don’t take it you can’t blame anyone.
For Brown, he is competing against Eden Hazard, Pedro and Willian for a spot in the side.

For this reason, Brown completed a loan move to newly promoted Brighton. Chris Hughton’s side finished second in the Championship last season, winning promotion to the Premier League for the first time.
Brown was a promotion winner in the Championship, himself, last term. However, it was with Huddersfield, who went up via the play-offs.
Huddersfield were unable to bring him in for a second season, with Brighton pouncing to secure his signature.
Brown is now looking forward to a season of first-team football in the top-flight.
This is the biggest season of my career. For a 20-year-old to play in the Premier League is not seen too much.
I want to take this chance and grab it with both hands. I still believe I can play for Chelsea.
