Chelsea’s second pre-season fixture saw them lose 3-2 to Bayern Munich in Singapore.
The Germans took the lead through a brilliantly-taken effort from Rafinha before two goals from Thomas Muller extended their lead.
Chelsea pulled a goal back late in the first half through Marcos Alonso before a goal from Michy Batshuayi made for an exciting final five minutes.
Antonio Conte will be disappointed with the first-half performance but the Premier League champions improved as the game went on but ran out of time in the end.
