Chelsea are attempting to hijack Atletico Madrid’s pursuit for Sevilla’s Vitolo, despite Atletico being very close to the transfer, according Spanish publication Cadena COPE.
Vitolo joined Sevilla in 2013 from Las Palmas and is now attracting interest from Atletico and Chelsea. If he joins Atletico then he will go on loan back to Las Palmas after he signs until their transfer ban is over.
The Spanish winger has been vital for Sevilla in recent years, helping them win three Europa League titles in four years, scoring 27 in 171 appearances for the Spanish side since joining.

The 27-year-old would be a good backup for the likes of Eden Hazard, Willian and Pedro and he would play a vital role in the squad for the 2017/18 season as Chelsea try to defend the Premier League title and compete in the Champions League again.
