The winners of the 2016/17 Premier League Chelsea will now be looking for a new forward amid rumours that Romelu Lukaku is heading to Man United for £75 million instead of a move back to Stamford Bridge.
Current Blues striker Diego Costa suggested that Antonio Conte has told him he isn’t part of his plans for next season and is therefore planning a return to Spain and Atletico Madrid.
This leaves Chelsea short of strikers if Costa is to get his way and return to Spain. Having most likely missed out on Lukaku, they would have Michy Batshuayi and Loic Remy as their only recognised strikers.
Chelsea have only brought in former Manchester City goalkeeper Willy Caballero but have been rumoured to be close to securing the signings of Alex Sandro of Juventus, Antonio Rudiger from Roma and Tiemoue Bakayoko from AS Monaco.
Along with these targets, they will need to ensure they bring in a world-class striker and down below you will find five strikers I’ve identified as a replacement to Romelu Lukaku.
