Amid rumours that Celtic were going to register an interest in Chelsea midfielder Mario Pasalic, it looks as if the youngster could now be heading to Turkish outfit Galatasaray.
A report from Sporx suggests that Galatasaray want to add to their summer signings with the capture of the 22-year-old. Pasalic joined Chelsea in 2014 from Croatian side Hajduk Split but, like so many players on the Blues’ books, has never had an opportunity with the first team.
Most recently, Pasalic spent time out on loan with AC Milan where he scored five goals. Despite him showing quality at Milan, it seems he has no future for the Blues given that his agent Marko Naletilic revealed he is open to leaving Stamford Bridge.
Celtic will still be hopeful that they can snatch the Croatian and bring him to Celtic Park, and it’s fair to say the 22-year-old youngster would be a good signing for either side.
