Since making his £12.75m move from Ligue 1 side Rennes to Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund, Ousmane Dembele has emerged as one of Europe’s brightest young talents.
In his debut season in German football, Dembele scored 10 goals and provided 21 assists across 49 appearances in all competitions, earning a place in the France national side as a result.
Both Manchester United and Chelsea are also said to be chasing his signature according to the Express, while Barcelona are also heavily linked.
Dortmund have set a £70m asking price for their star forward but are believed to be unwilling to part ways with the 20-yer-old who is contracted to the club until 2021.
Antonio Conte wants to add some more dynamic forces to his attack this summer and sees Dembele as the perfect complement to Eden Hazard in attack.
Chelsea, along with Manchester United, are unfazed by Dortmund’s asking price and are ready to meet that fee in order to bring the Frenchman to the Premier League.
