Chelsea will receive £2.7 million this summer to add to their transfer funds courtesy of Mohammed Salah’s £39 million move to Liverpool, the Evening Standard reports.
There have been strong rumours that Liverpool will announce the deal in the coming days, making Salah their club record signing.
The Blues included a sell-on clause as part of the deal when they sold the winger to Roma for £12 million, which entitles them to 10% of any profit the Serie A club make on the Egypt international.
This means Roma stand to make £27 million off a player they signed just 12 months ago.
Antonio Conte can add this £2.7 million to the £10 million already recouped from the sale of Asmir Begovic to fellow Premier League side Bournemouth.
Young striker Bertrand Traore also looks likely to be leaving Stamford Bridge permanently, believed to be heading to Lyon for a fee in the region of £17 million.
