Fikayo Tomori scouted by Dortmund and PSG

Despite having made just one senior appearance for Chelsea so far in his career, Fikayo Tomori is still thought of highly within the club.

The versatile defender impressed during a loan spell with Brighton during the second half of last season and helped them achieve a first promotion to the Premier League.

Antonio Conte’s plan for Tomori is to again send him on loan to a top Championship club for the 2017/18 season but things might have changed.

According to All Nigeria Soccer, Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund, as well as Ligue 1 clubs Paris Saint-Germain and Marseille, had scouts watching Tomori during the recent U20 World Cup.

Tomori started all seven games for England, playing every minute of the tournament as the Young Lions brought home the trophy last Sunday.

The 19-year-old defender is not thought to be up for a permanent transfer this summer but the likes of Dortmund and PSG could test Chelsea’s resolve with a bid.

Able to play centre-back or either fullback role, Tomori is a very promising young player at Stamford Bridge and the Blues should do all they can to keep him, but it may not be enough.
