The Mail Online reports that Chelsea youngster, Tammy Abraham, could be going on loan to newly promoted Brighton due to Chelsea’s technical director Michael Emenalo having a good relationship with Brighton manager Chris Hughton.
It is no secret that Chelsea have an array of promising youngsters that go out on loan every season but Emenalo is very selective as to where his promising stars will be temporarily plying their trade.
Emenalo views Brighton as a great club for young players’ development due to Hughton being in charge of the Seagulls.
Other clubs such as Newcastle are interested in loaning Tammy Abraham, who scored 23 goals on loan at Bristol City in the Championship this season just finished.

If Abraham does go to Brighton, it would be great for everyone involved. It would be great for Abraham as he will be starting nearly every week in the Premier League at a club with low expectations so there won’t be a great deal of pressure on the 19-year-old.
It would work well for Brighton as they’ll have a talented youngster on their hands who will be eager to impress in the English top flight who can help them secure Premier League football for another season.
Finally, it’d work for Chelsea as well as Abraham will gain a lot of experience and skill by starting in the Premier League, making the step up from the Championship.
