After Friday’s win which saw Chelsea crowned champions in Antonio Conte’s first season, the Italian has revealed his plans to stay on as Chelsea boss next season, as reported by the Mirror.
Following speculation that the Chelsea boss could return to managing in Serie A with Inter Milan keen on his services, Conte has revealed his plans to stay at the club.
When asked if he could 100% guarantee being at Chelsea next season. He responded with the best news for Chelsea fans off the back of the title win.
“Yes, I can. I think we have already started to work and we have to improve in the next season and to find the right solution to improve.” Conte explained.
Going into the 2017/18 season Conte now has to rise up to the battle of keeping his key players at Stamford Bridge with the likes of Diego Costa, Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois being linked with moves away from the Premier League champions.
Costa’s future remains unclear following reports that a move to the Chinese Super League has already been agreed.
