Following the international break, Premier League football is back this weekend and Chelsea are at home to Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon.
Chelsea still sit at the top of the Premier League table, 10 points clear of Tottenham Hostpur in second place. A late winner from Gary Cahill gave Antonio Conte’s side all three points over Stoke City, after a Jonathan Walters penalty cancelled out Willian’s earlier effort.
Saturday’s opposition currently sit in 16th place, four points above the drop zone. A Troy Deeney own goal gave the Eagles a win over Watford in their most recent fixture.
The two sides have already met once this season, with Chelsea coming out as 1-0 winners at Selhurst Park. Diego Costa’s header was the only goal of the game in what was a tough game for the Blues.
Ahead of Saturday’s fixture, I’ve taken a look at Crystal Palace, and the possible threats they can pose to Chelsea.
