According to reports, Chelsea have lodged an audacious €60 million bid to sign Juventus winger Kingsley Coman ahead of the summer transfer window.
The French international is currently out on loan with German champions Bayern Munich and the Bundesliga giants do have the option to activate a clause included in the loan deal, worth a considerably cheap £18 million, that would bring Coman to the Allianz Arena on a permanent basis.
Whilst it’s highly likely that Carlo Ancelotti will go ahead and tie a deal with Juventus for Coman, it’s clearly not stopped Chelsea and Antonio Conte from putting their name in for the Frenchman.
He’s been fairly unlucky with injury this season but clearly has an abundance of quality and potential, so it’s not hard to see why Chelsea are keeping such a keen eye on him.
