Chelsea are back in FA Cup action on Monday, with Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United the visitors in the quarter-finals of the competition.
In the previous round, Chelsea were 2-0 winners over Championship side Wolves at Molineux. The Blues have already knocked out Brentford and Peterborough of the FA Cup so far this season. Manchester United are the first Premier League team Antonio Conte’s side will face in the competition this season.
Monday’s visitors beat Championship side Blackburn Rovers 2-1 at Ewood Park in the previous round and have also beaten Wigan and Reading in the previous two rounds. Like Chelsea, this fixture will be the first fixture against Premier League opposition in the FA Cup so far for Manchester United.
The two sides have already met at Stamford Bridge this season, with Chelsea winning comfortably 4-0. Goals from Pedro, Gary Cahill, Eden Hazard, and N’Golo Kante helped Chelsea to a huge win over former manager Mourinho.
With Chelsea’s FA Cup quarter-final fixture coming up, we take a look back at the club’s five most recent fixtures in this round of the competition.
