Antonio Conte confirmed that the club are considering a bid made for second-choice goalkeeper, Asmir Begovic.
Speaking to the media ahead of Sunday’s clash with Hull, accepted that a move away is a real possibility for the Bosnian international.
Rumours of a £10 million bid from Bournemouth emerged on Friday night with the Cherries looking to cement their place in the Premier League.
Begovic would welcome a move to the south coast, he spent time at Portsmouth earlier in his career, so would know the area well.
He has found game time limited this season with Chelsea falling out of the League Cup leaving only the FA Cup to play for.
Conte admitted that if the club could find an alternative option, as well as the third-choice shot-stopper, Eduardo, then the former Stoke man could be on the move.
After those comments, we look at some potential goalkeepers that could be on the move to provide competition for Thibaut Courtois.
Let’s be realistic, Chelsea are not going to be able to bring in Gianluigi Donnarumma or someone of that ilk in January, we’ve taken into account costs, contracts and the player’s long-term future.
