This Tuesday, Chelsea return to action in the League Cup. The Blues are away to Premier League champions Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.
As Chelsea have no European competition this season, they’ve entered the tournament at the 2nd round stage, when they were given a home tie to League One side Bristol Rovers. Chelsea came out on top with a 3-2 win, with goals from Victor Moses and a Michy Batshuayi double helping the Premier League side against a very impressive Bristol Rovers team.
Leicester, on the other hand, do have European football this season. Playing in the Champions League for the very first time, so the Foxes enter the tournament at the third round stage, with Chelsea their opposition.
In midweek, the club started their Champions League campaign away at Club Brugge, and started brilliantly, winning 3-0 in Belgium.
With Chelsea entering the competition in the third round, we take a look at the last five results at this stage.
