With Chelsea and Liverpool playing each other this Friday, I look back at some of the players who have applied their trade for both clubs.
There have been several memorable moments between the two clubs over the years but despite that, they’ve shared a player or two.
Whilst Chelsea have seen a dramatic rise in their fortunes since the Premier League’s formation, Liverpool have not been so lucky – having not picked up a single league title in 24 years. Chelsea meanwhile have won four Premier League titles and numerous League and FA Cups.
But unlike previous seasons, Liverpool are fancied to challenge alongside Chelsea for one of the most hotly contested Premier League titles in recent history.
Chelsea will be looking to go top of the league with a win this Friday, whereas Liverpool will be hoping that by winning they can overtake Chelsea – bringing themselves right back into contention, whilst also bringing an end to Antonio Conte’s undefeated start at Chelsea.
