After an untimely international break, Premier League football is back and following an unbeaten start under Antonio Conte Chelsea will look to pull away from the two Manchester clubs – who play each other in the Manchester derby, when they travel to Wales to play Swansea on Sunday afternoon.
Chelsea were completely dominant over Burnley in their last Premier League outing, running out 3-0 winners. They could also have scored many more were it not for the impressive Tom Heaton.
Eden Hazard looked back to his best against Burnley – scoring a superb solo effort, whilst also coming close on several occasions. Whilst tenacious midfielder N’Golo Kante controlled the game with an industrious performance.
Swansea have had a mixed start to the campaign – failing to win in the league since their opening day victory over Burnley. They had a very poor first-half performance aginst Leicester City and they were outclassed at home to a depleted Hull City squad.
New signing Leroy Fer has however looked bright in parts during Swansea’s league campaign, scoring their only two goals of the season.
Kurt Zouma remains the only injury concern for Chelsea, whilst Swansea will be hoping that new £15million signing Borja Baston will be fit enough to play on Sunday.
