Chelsea will welcome Burnley to Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon before the international break that will stall Premier League matches until 10th September.
Chelsea are fresh off an EFL Cup victory over Bristol Rovers, 3-2, on Tuesday afternoon, with Michy Batushuayi, among other youth players making an appearance, thriving against the League One side.
Antonio Conte will have plenty of players to select from, as many players from his first two Premier League matches were rested ahead of the weekend clash with the Clarets.
The Blues have enjoyed recent success against Burnley, winning three out of the last four – the other was a 1-1 draw in February 2015 – including when Andre Schurrle scored that goal.
At this point, with no new defenders or other players of note coming in and Kurt Zouma not fit to return from injury, I wouldn’t expect many changes to Conte’s side that faced Watford last weekend.
Ahead of this afternoon’s match, we take a look at who we think will be in the starting lineup.
