The latest edition of Chelsea’s magazine has been released and includes an in-depth interview with Brazilian attacker, Willian.
Last season’s Player of the Year was quick to acknowledge that the team were far off the expectations set upon them before the beginning of last campaign and is adamant that the team are eager to bounce back and give something back to the Chelsea supporters.
Last season, the Brazilian netted 11 times, seven more than those of his last two seasons in a Blue shirt.
I put it in my head when I arrived at Chelsea that I always have to keep improving my game and I think I’m doing that.
At the end of the dreadful campaign, it was no doubt that Willian walked away from the end of season awards dinner with both Player of the Year and Player’s Player of the Year, as the winger was by far the Blues’ most effective star throughout such a torrid season.

Willian spoke to the Chelsea Magazine about his targets for next season, as well as mentioning that the Chelsea supporters deserve more than what they were given last season.
Sometimes it was difficult to play well last season, as our team performances in some games weren’t as good as we wanted them to be, but when you don’t play well you have to fight and do everything to win that game. I think I am always doing that and I have to continue doing it.
The Chelsea fans deserve more and we know that. We need to come back for 2016/17 stronger to win titles for them.
