As rumours continue to circulate about who Chelsea are looking to sign this summer, some are also suggesting that former players could be on their way back to the Bridge, but this time playing a different role.
According to talkSPORT, Hernan Crespo has revealed that is is his dream to return to Stamford Bridge in the future as a manager, but wished new Chelsea boss Antonio Conte all the best in the meantime.
Chelsea have already reaped the rewards of employing a former player as manager, albeit a temporary one, following that night in Munich.

It’s becoming quite the trend for former players to announce their desire to manage the club they once played for, with the likes of Kenny Dalglish, Alan Pardew and Alan Shearer to name a few, all returning to their former clubs as a manager.
