Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan today told reporters that two of his international teammates have been trying to persuade him to leave Italy and join Chelsea.
It has been widely reported that the 28-year-old is a transfer target for the Blues as incoming manager Antonio Contre is said to be a huge fan of his.
The Belgian international acknowledged that Conte tried to sign him for Juventus and said that he thinks he’s now trying to take him to Stamford Bridge.
As reported by Goal, he said:
I have met with Antonio Conte and I know he wanted me at Juventus. He has told me what kind of player I can be for him and I feel he still wants me.

Chelsea stars Thibaut Courtois and Eden Hazard are also part of Belgium’s 23-man squad for Euro 2016 and Nainggolan told reporters that the pair have already been talking to him about the possibility of a move to London, although he says he wants to leave any discussions about his future until after the tournament.
However, I am now concentrating on the next few weeks and to see what will happen. Thibaut Courtois and Eden Hazard have already asked me to come to Chelsea, but a possible transfer is not in my head.
Time will tell if Nainggolan is to join Cheslea, but it looks like we’ll have to wait a few weeks before any potential signing takes place.
