The announcement of Antonio Conte as the new Chelsea manager sparked a host of transfer rumours linking the Blues with numerous Juventus stars.
And The Express are now suggesting that Chelsea will face stiff competition from Inter Milan in the race to sign Juve defender Stephan Lichtsteiner.
The Switzerland star has just one year remaining on his current deal with the Serie A champions, and it was reported in Swiss news outlet Blick last month that he had been offered a three-year deal at Stamford Bridge.
However after Inter were recently bought out by the Chinese consortium Suning Commerce Group, in a deal worth £590million, the same Swiss publication claimed the Italian giants were also pursuing the 32-year-old.

The £8.5million defender, however, is focusing on captaining Switzerland at this summer’s European Championships before making a decision about his further.
Lichtsteiner’s Juventus teammate Kwadwo Asamoah has also been linked with a £15million move to Stamford Bridge, according to The Mirror, who suggest the defender is another from Conte’s former club that the Italian would like at Chelsea.
