Roma and Belgium midfielder Radja Nainggolan has recently confirmed Chelsea Football Club’s interest in signing him in an interview with HLN Nina, according to Goal.
The English giants have been linked with Nainggolan for some time now, as they’re looking to rebuild their midfield with the addition of the Belgian destroyer. However, the rumours of the transfer’s possibility have been off and on over the last few months. That was until the player himself confirmed the dialogue between Chelsea and his current club, Roma.
Nainggolan said:
There has been contact between Roma and Chelsea, but I will not get involved so long as there is no agreement between the clubs.

It is no surprise that one of incoming Chelsea boss Antonio Conte’s first moves is to attempt to bring in Nainggolan, who he has admired for some time whilst managing in Serie A.
Chelsea are keen to strengthen their squad and Conte is a manager who wanted to sign me before. Chelsea are a big club.
But Nainggolan, who is contracted to Roma until 2020, knows that a deal to move to Stamford Bridge this summer is far from being wrapped up.
But the transfer is not a done deal so long as there is no signed contract on the table. And it would not be easy to leave Italy after 11 years.
