It has been well documented in the last week about the success of Chelsea’s youth teams.
The U19s successfully defended their UEFA Youth League title after beating French side, Paris Saint-Germain 2-1 in the final.
As well as this, the U18s also secured a place in the final of the FA Youth Cup where they face off against Manchester City over two legs.
Due to the success of the youngsters, there have been many calls for Guus Hiddink to play more of them between now and the end of the season. These calls have been emphasised more now with nothing left to play for.
Giving the youth players a chance will give the fans a lift as a disappointing season slowly comes to an end under both Jose Mourinho and Hiddink.
