The defeat to Swansea highlighted a number of things for the incoming Chelsea boss, Antonio Conte.
The performance left little to the imagination as the Blues lacked energy and creativity against the Welsh side.
Conte, who is currently preparing to take his Italian national team to this summer’s Euro 2016, will have plenty of big decisions to make at Stamford Bridge before a ball is even kicked next season.
There has been plenty of talk regarding players who want to leave Chelsea, even some reports that suggest Chelsea are closing in on some summer transfer targets.
All of which, among other stuff, are things that Conte will need to address. The slight issue is, of course, his participation in Euro 2016, which makes things a little more complicated, but Chelsea were aware of that when they appointed him.
We’re going to highlight some of the problems that the Italian will be facing when he arrives at Chelsea.
