According to a report by Cambridge News, Chelsea captain John Terry has offered to pay the funeral costs for young Blues fan Tommi Miller, who unfortunately passed away following a long battle with leukaemia.
The eight-year-old was a huge Chelsea fan and got to meet the squad on a visit last June but unfortunately, he died at the end of March after an attempt at a bone marrow transplant proved unsuccessful.

The struggle of Tommi’s family was reported last year after a they were forced to use a food bank to survive, but a community fundraising effort helped give the Miller’s some financial stability as their son battled cancer.
A friend of the family contacted John Terry about the possibility of helping with costs and after the captain confirmed with the funeral directors that the plea was legitimate, he offered to pay the £1600 fee in full.
Our thoughts are with the Miller family at this time.
