Chelsea fans have made their voices clear and believe that Cesc Fabregas should be the next club captain.
A few days ago, we gave you the chance to vote for who should replace John Terry as Chelsea captain, should he leave the club at the end of the season.
The Spanish midfielder was the overwhelming victor in the poll, with many fans believing Fabregas should be given the armband.
Injured centre-back Kurt Zouma was far behind Fabregas, with current Chelsea vice-captain Branislav Ivanovic not too far behind the Frenchman.
England vice-captain Gary Cahill was also in the running, but Fabregas was the clear winner.

The Spaniard was captain of London-rivals Arsenal for a number of years, and the Chelsea fans clearly believe Fabregas’ history as a captain will be beneficial, should he become captain.
Fabregas has been at the club since 2014, signing from Spanish side FC Barcelona. He was influential in helping Chelsea win the title, making the most assists across the 2014/15 Premier League season.
If Terry does leave Chelsea at the end of the season, Fabregas is clearly the fans’ favourite for the armband.
