Today the world of football was rocked by the news of the passing of Johan Cruyff. The former Barcelona man was diagnosed with lung cancer last October and sadly lost his battle.
The iconic Dutchman did so many great things for football and was known for his famous ‘Cruyff turn’ that he performed against Argentina at the World Cup.
He had a prestigious career both as a player and a manager, and today, everyone involved in the game has been paying their respects, to mark the passing of a true football legend.
With spells at the likes of Ajax and Barcelona, Cruyff was the first player to win three Ballon d’Or awards and hailed for his skill and technical abilities.
